Over the last several years we’ve seen a ramp up of online shopping sites producing private label brands looking to make a name for themselves. With many big box shops such as Target, Walmart and Amazon competing in this space it can be overwhelming to know which sites offer the best selection in terms of price and product offering.
Here at Bynmix we’re advocates of the online shopping movement. We appreciate how efficient it is to view a catalog online, add to a shopping cart and have our favorite fabulous and chic items delivered in a matter of days if not hours. The perks of online shopping sites – am I right?
So what are our favorite online shopping stores for 2019?
The spring and summer months open doors for many music festivals. We’re seeing our Instagram feeds filled with cute floral prints to bold eye catching colors. You could spend a fortune to put together a cute outfit from some of your major retailers or visit sites like ASOS to achieve the same look at a fraction of the price.
With ASOS offering tens of thousands of products, you’ll have your selection of european styles and fits. And for an additional $19 a year you can have yourself a premier 2-day delivery at which no order minimum is required. All the shopping binges galore am i right? In addition, ASOS’s own ASOS Design division has over 13,000 women’s pieces from handbags, shoes, dresses and tops that all have a premium quality touch at an extremely affordable price. For those who have already participated in premier delivery and for those that are considering the membership fee, its important to note that most often purchases made on a Thursday will most likely not be received until the following week. We’ve experienced at least one business day for orders to be processed and shipped.
As an avid ASOS shopper I get to save a great deal of money on fabulous outfits but one thing I absolutely appreciate is the overall shopping experience ASOS provides. From their homepage to the ASOS Insider and Style feeds you have an abundance of reference points to choose from when it comes to discovering new approaches to building an outfit or two. Once you’ve gathered inspiration, the ASOS Marketplace gives you access to boutique, vintage or pre-styled pieces. I absolutely love this section as I get to shop items I normally don’t frequent and get to discover unique brands. Here are a couple that I tend to fancy; Avelinas Vintage and Bristol Saint.
Avelinas Vintage – A Spain based brand that offers a wide selection of vintage pieces. You can find anything from reworked oversized Levis denim shorts to Burberry vintage trench coats. Definitely worth taking a look to add a couple of unique pieces to your wardrobe
Bristol Saint – Based in the UK, Bristol Saint provides more colorful items in comparison to Avelinas Vintage. You’ll find a wide selection of vintage pieces from floral dresses to pleated pants and blazers. One of my favorite pieces is this vintage 90’s medium blue lightweight blazer.
At the end of the day ASOS offers so many different options to build your ideal outfits for a fraction of the cost you would spend on most online fashion stores. This is particularly why I love ASOS. On the flip side, when you’re looking for quality its important to note that you do get what you pay for. Make sure you examine the photos and pay particular attention to the details of the fabric, the model dimensions and angles in which the outfits fall against the body of the model. These little nuances will help give you the best sense of what to expect from your purchase.
Overall, I order from ASOS frequently and have had nothing but a top notch experience. Ill continue to shop with them as they help to fill the need for super fabulous and unique outfits at amazing prices. I hope this review was helpful for those of you who are looking to explore the world of ASOS.
